Garlic Cheddar Dinner Rolls


I made a pasta dish for dinner, wanted something to go with it, so I took the cheddar jalapeno roll recipe and omitted the jalapenos and replaced them with garlic!  Win!  Super flavor, and a perfect pairing for the pasta dish!  They are super easy to make, they don't take long at all (about an hour or so total time) and they come out super fluffy and yummy!

Ingredients:

> 2 cups flour

>  2 1/4 tsp rapid rise yeast

>  2 tbsp sugar

>  1/2 tsp salt

>  1/2 cup milk

>  1/4 cup water

>  2 tbsp butter

>  3 tbsp minced garlic

>  1 cup cheddar grated

>.2 tbsp melted butter with minced garlic for brushing

>  pinch of parsley for garnish



Directions:

Add 3/4 cup flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl on stand mixer

Warm milk, water, and butter in microwave until very warm (130 degrees F), and add to the flour mixture.

Add the garlic and cheddar

Mix 2 minutes at medium speed with dough hook

Continue adding 1/4 cup flour and mixing until soft dough forms

 Mix an additional 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic

Cover; let rest 10 minutes.

Divide dough into 12 equal pieces; shape into balls.

Place in greased 9-inch round pan.

Cover; let rise until doubled in size, or about 30 minutes.

Brush tops with melted butter & minced garlic then sprinkle with parsley 

Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

** After they came out of the oven i brushed them again with garlic butter and sprinkled parmesan on top!**
